Hi Phil, I just received Fettec Kiss FC + DJI Remote and Air Unit Combo and looked into manual and it says: ‚Supported Flight Control System: The DJI FPV Air Unit is only compatible with flight controllers that support Betaflight‘ Did you test or maybe you just know that it works with Kiss FC – like in the diagram? If it’s not I will probably just sell it before opening it. I should just look into manual before ordering it :/
Hi Dawid,
its supported on KIS FC/FettecFCs. You just need to install the Firmware from Alexander Fedorov.
Hope that helps!
Phil
Hello! Is there any way to connect osd to the dji airunit? Or at least show voltage on the goggles with a dji vtx. Thank you
Hi Yohalmo,
yes it’s possible. Alexander Fedorov has programmed a protocol to support DJI OSD. You can GPS, Voltage, Amps, Battery, Rssi, and so on. You simply have to support Alexander on Patreon, download his custom firmware and flash it to your FETtec FC or any KISS FC.
Thats all!
Hi on this diagram is battery 4s but I undurstand that 6s for dji sys is possible, and only one things which I should add is capacitor?
If you want to use 6S, you need an additional stepdown for the DJI Air Unit, because it only supports 17 Volts and 6S has over 25 Volts. 😉 Also use the recommended capacitor when using 6S.
