RunCam Racer 2 – switch NTSC/PAL
As the name suggests, the RunCam Racer 2 is aimed at racing pilots. The camerasensor and all electronics are protected in a housing, which makes the camera extremely robust. You have the choice between 2.1 and 1.8mm lens.

In addition to the usual wide input voltage, this camera has two different variants for control. The camera is conventionally controlled by switch / PCB, but also has a serial interface, as it is often used nowadays.

Mounting
The enclosed adapter also allows the RunCam Racer 2 to be used in freestyle frames with 28mm camera plates.
NTSC / PAL switch
Another special feature is that the camera can switch between PAL and NTSC. Also switchable is 4:3 and widescreen.
NTCS video files are saved at approx. 30 frames/second. PAL video with 25 frames/second
Wiring
The wiring of the camera is not really different from other FPV cameras. Only the analog and serial control is now on the same pins. The camera automatically detects which variant is being used.
Joystick
If you want to control the camera normally by joystick, connect the joystick as follows.
UART
For the UART control you have to connect the RunCam Racer 2 to your flight control via serial interface. Detailed instructions on configuration and control can be found in this article.
